My name is Roesy. I’m an Irish singer, songwriter, and visual artist. After living in Australia for the past 15 years, I’m now back home, returning once again to my music and art after a creative life that has spanned three decades of writing, recording, exhibiting, and touring. While writing an album in 2018, I needed greater flexibility and spent a year driving Uber in Melbourne. The conversations I valued most were with older passengers and people navigating extraordinary life circumstances. That curiosity led me to study aged and disability support.Since then, I’ve supported people with a wide range of needs and ways of communicating, including people who are non-verbal, living with complex conditions, or approaching the final stages of life.
