⚜️ Legacy Preservation
Sometimes the best way to understand the past is simply to listen.I love how stories, songs, and humour pass between generations.
The Stories We Keep brings that into the digital space, not with timelines or screens, but with voices. In a world full of noise and distraction, this offering is quiet by design.
It’s not a video. It’s a keepsake you close your eyes to, a voice, gently set to music, to revisit when it matters most.

About Me
My name is Roesy, I’m an Irish singer, songwriter, and visual artist living in Australia for 14 years with a creative career spanning three decades of writing, recording, exhibiting and touring. While writing an album back in 2018, I needed time flexibility and drove Uber in Melbourne for a year. The conversations I valued most were with older passengers and people navigating extraordinary life circumstances. That curiosity led me to study aged and disability support.I completed a nine-month Certificate III in Individual Support, which included a placement of over 190 hours split between residential aged care and palliative care. It was hands-on and a deeply formative event in my life. Since then, I’ve worked in the sector for over six years. In that time, I’ve supported people with a wide range of needs and ways of communicating, some non-verbal, some living with complex conditions, some near the end of life.
I hold all up-to-date Police Checks, Working With Children Clearance, Public Liability Insurance, and current First Aid & CPR certification.
The Creative Compass is tools I can share from experience, using creativity as my own medicine, prescribed by me, for me.If interested, here's links to my own return journey back to creativity:
